1. Who we are
AI Learning Platform is operated by Munashe Tech PBC, Gweru, Zimbabwe. This policy explains what information we collect when schools use the platform and how we handle it.
2. What we collect
Staff account data: name, email address, role (school administrator or teacher) and school membership, used to sign staff in and secure each school's workspace.
Student account data: a display name and a username and PIN created by the school's staff — no student email address or phone number is required — plus lesson progress, quiz scores and AI tutor conversations from the student's activity.
School data: school name, invited teachers, subscription seats and payment references recorded by the school.
Usage data: lesson plans and quizzes generated through the AI planner, and class activity, used to provide the service.
Parents do not have accounts and we do not collect parent data.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to operate the platform: authenticating staff and students, enforcing each school's access boundaries, activating paid seats, delivering lessons and recording student progress, generating AI content requested by teachers, and improving the service. We do not sell personal data and we do not use school or student data for advertising.
4. AI processing
When a teacher uses the AI lesson planner, the form level, subject and topic they enter are sent to an AI model provider to generate the plan. When a student chats with the AI tutor, their messages are sent to the AI provider to generate a reply, under a safety-first setup designed for school use. Do not enter student personal details into AI prompts.
5. Sharing
Each school's data is visible only to that school's staff and, for their own progress and lessons, to the student it belongs to. Platform administrators may access data solely for operational, support and security purposes. We share data with service providers (hosting, authentication, AI processing) only as needed to run the platform, and where required by law.
6. Security and retention
Access is controlled by sign-in and database-level rules that separate each school's data. We retain school data while the school's subscription is active; schools may request deletion of their data by contacting us.
7. Your rights
School administrators may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their school's data at any time by contacting us.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be communicated in the app. The latest version is always available on this page.
